Crate is a place to trade music.
Anyone can launch a song, and every song has a coin.

-- How does it work? --

Crate uses the Base blockchain.

When a song is launched, a coin is created and is instantly tradable.

The price goes up or down based on buying or selling.

If 80,000 coins are sold, the song is then launched on Uniswap where it will be tradable on the open market.

-- What is a song coin? --

Song coins are small pieces of a song that represent attention.

We took the problems of music NFTs (no liquidity, unit confusion) and fixed them.

Song coins do not provide any utility. However, we are exploring fun perks such as token-gated song comments and social features.

-- How do artists make money? --

Artists get 0.5% on each trade from their song.
Also, artists can buy their songs first, at the lowest price.
We recommend not selling too early (don't rug your fans).
